Welcome to 'Hate Hunters', the new mobile game we developed in GameD - a free game that blends old-school arcade aesthetics with a mission to tackle online hate.

As we prepare for our launch on Apple's App Store and Android's Google Play, we are excited to share an overview of what 'Hate Hunters' is all about

Currently, we are in the final stages of development, refining every aspect of the game to offer an engaging and meaningful experience. Our dedicated team has poured their passion and knowledge into this project. They include young people from all over Europe who co-created the game as well as renowned experts on hate speech, extremism, youth work and serious game development. Gameplay: Becoming a Hate Hunter

In 'Hate Hunters,' you take on the role of a protector of BitCity, a virtual world inhabited by Bitizens, its innocent inhabitants. Here is what you can expect when you dive into the game:

  1. Online Raid Announcement: Your journey kicks off with an online raid announcement that thrusts you into action. Following a live chat, a distressed Bitizen reaches out for your help, setting the stage for your adventure.

  2. Explore BitCity: Immerse yourself in the captivating virtual realm of BitCity, a city on the brink of darkness. Experience its unique neighbourhoods, each with its own distinct character.

  3. Battle Against Hate: Your primary mission as a Hate Hunter is to shield Bitizens from the malevolent monsters plaguing the city. Such as the Toxicaters: These venomous creatures personify the corrosive nature of online hate. Engage in battles as they unleash acidic attacks. Crawlers: Swift and elusive, Crawlers navigate the city, leaving hateful marks in their wake. Beware, for they are as elusive as they are dangerous. Last Toxicater: The ultimate adversary, the Last Toxicater, awaits you at the final level, testing your skills and courage against the embodiment of hate itself.

  4. Symbols of Hate - Hate Tracks: The menacing monsters spawn symbols and graffiti referred to as 'Hate Tracks' across BitCity. These symbols infect Bitizens, making them fall ill or lose consciousness.

  5. Your Task: To counteract the negative effects of hate tracks, you must locate and cover them with stickers. It's a race against time as you navigate the city's streets, alleys, and hidden corners to safeguard the innocent.

  6. Customization and Upgrades: Equip yourself with an array of stickers, each offering unique abilities to assist you in your quest. Customize your character, advance through levels, and earn rewards as you become a legendary Hate Hunter.
