ASSOCIATION

SCENOR (SCientia ENim ORbis terrarum) is a non-profit association based in Vienna, Austria. Our research activities focus on the topics violent extremism, terrorism, radicalization, and conspiracy myths.

Our goal is to improve society as a whole, promote security and democracy, and contribute to groundbreaking science projects while providing exceptional technical expertise. We believe that the European Union is the ultimate peace project and this is essential to our mission. We feel that not enough emphasis is placed on how society can become better, more modern, and more resilient in the face of the many challenges it faces today. SCENOR is committed to doing its part to address this issue.

We have no political affiliations or interests and strive to be impartial and objective in our research. We seek to collaborate with organizations that share our commitment to impartiality and scientific excellence, whether they are academic or non-academic, profit or non-profit, private or public. We welcome all such organizations as supporting members of our association, and there is no cost to join.

Our team is committed to contributing to the advancement of society by tackling one of the biggest challenges of our time: violent extremism. Unfortunately, this is an element of danger that is often poorly understood, resulting in ad-hoc solutions that fail to systematically mitigate or resolve the issue. We want to change this by providing concrete outputs from our research that can help to address the problem effectively.
