THE PARTNER CONSORTIUM
The involved organisations joined the RECO_DAR project consortium based on their internationally acknowledged expertise, complementing each other, and on previous successful collaborations.
SCENOR brought their expertise in data collection and analysis of the right-wing extremist ecosystem in Austria, with a focus on hate speech and extremist online presence on various social media platforms. As part of the RAIDAR project, SCENOR was mapping these extremist groups using both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. The organisation has strong relationships with civil society organisations, particularly in youth work, and with public authorities such as the Austrian Ministry of Justice and the Interior. Previous projects such as CAYET, EUTEx and Vox-Pol, also demonstrate SCENOR's capabilities.
modus|zad brought specific methodological expertise in monitoring and data collection on YouTube and other platforms, including TikTok. This expertise has been built through the experiences of the ABAT, KorRex and BpB-Monitoring, projects, which have focused on analysing actors, narratives, and trends in non-jihadist Islamist scenes, as well as comparing German and British actors. modus|zad collaborates closely with other German and international organisations such as CeMAs, Jugendschutz.net, the Federal Criminal Police (BKA), and universities such as LMU Munich, Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, NETTZ – Network against Hate Speech, PRIF, and GNET, all of whom focus on online monitoring.
