We are involved in several research projects funded by various donors, both as a lead organization and as a partner in consortiums. Our focus is on our main area of expertise: countering violent extremism, terrorism, and deradicalization.
RAIDAR develops an AI-based digital platform for a partially automated analysis of online content which endangers democracy, fosters hatred and enhances radicalization. The project is funded by KIRAS and ongoing.
In the RECO_DAR project our goal is to generate knowledge about how extremist right-wing actors interact with each other through social media, and to use this information to improve both online and offline prevention efforts.
In this project we develop a "serious" online game which can be used in youth work for educational purposes whilst also being entertaining and engaging for young people. Partners come from Denmark and Germany.
PARTES develops an evidence-based model to protect places of worship (PoW), combat violent extremism, and involve faith-based communities in the process. It promotes understanding and education on toxic rhetoric and on various faiths.
