We are involved in several research projects funded by various donors, both as a lead organization and as a partner in consortiums. Our focus is on our main area of expertise: countering violent extremism, terrorism, radicalisation, and hate speech.

PARTES

PARTES develops an evidence-based model to protect places of worship (PoW), combat violent extremism, and involve faith-based communities in the process. It promotes understanding and education on toxic rhetoric and on various faiths.

This project will deliver a multilingual digital platform and mobile application to support long-term knowledge exchange and access to resources. This will strengthens coordination between public authorities and religious communities and contributes to a whole-of-society approach to protecting places of worship.

AFETS develops training and resources to help schools address anti-feminism and toxic masculinity. It strengthens the capacity of teachers, school psychologists, and social workers, promotes gender equality, and fosters inclusive, democratic school environments.

PRANET is a research and training project analysing anti-democratic online discourses among young people in Austria. It strengthens prevention and intervention by developing evidence-based counter-strategies and enhancing practitioners’ capacity to address misogyny, toxic masculinity and related extremist narratives.
