ANTI-FEMINISM AND TOXIC MASCULINITY IN SCHOOLS
Tackling gender-based challenges in education settings

THE PROJECT

AFETS is an Erasmus+ project that addresses the growing challenges of anti-feminist and toxic masculinity among youth. It focuses on the role of schools as spaces of prevention, resilience, and civic education. The project supports teachers, school psychologists and social workers in Austria and Germany to better understand and respond to manifestations of anti-feminism and toxic masculinity in school environments.

AFETS provides evidence-based training material, interactive workshops, tailored consultation formats, and accessible resources to strengthen educators' capacities. It promotes gender equality and EU values as key pillars of democratic citizenship and a positive school climate.
